Fed Releases Clarification of Reg. Z Changes

The Federal Reserve has recently released guidance that clarifies changes to Reg. Z regarding high priced mortgage loans. Specifically, this "consumer affairs" letter clarifies the Fed's position regarding the origination of short-term balloon notes and documentation of adequate repayment capacity.
